HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) - A man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Hamilton County Monday afternoon, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they responded to reports of the wreck at the intersection of Kilby Road and Suspension Bridge Road in Whitewater Township just before 2:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist was taken to UCER by the Whitewater Township Life Squad, where he died of his injuries approximately an hour later, HCSO said.

The driver of the pickup remained on scene and was fully cooperative with the investigation before being taken to Good Samaritan Western Ridge for an evaluation and back injury.

Deputies confirmed that the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and the investigation is ongoing.
