Wall is the new No. 1-rated team in Class 9A in this week's South Dakota Prep Media Football poll.

Winner (Class 11B), Elkton-Lake Benton (Class 9AA) and Sully Buttes (Class 9B) each held their ground. The Class 11AAA, 11AA, and 11A ratings remained the same from the preseason poll since those teams don't begin play until this week.

The South Dakota Prep Media Football Poll for the week of Aug. 25 is listed below, ranking the top-five teams in each class, record, total points and previous ranking. First-place votes are listed in parentheses. Classes 11A-11AAA remained unchanged from the preseason poll.
