As good as Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has been early in his NFL career, he'll need to be even better in 2025.

On Monday, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that Texans running back Joe Mixon (ankle) will be moved to the reserve/non-football injury list by Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET deadline for teams to cut rosters to 53 players. With the designation, Mixon won't be able to play until Week 5 at the earliest.
