BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (WNDU) - Benton Harbor City Hall will soon receive some much-needed improvements thanks to a $100,000 grant from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy.

According to our reporting partners at The Herald-Palladium , the grant will be used to better insulate and seal the envelope of the building.

Currently, water is seeping into the building, but a contractor will be hired to make repairs.

Benton Harbor’s City Hall building was built back in 1937.
