CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Family members of Chris Bagley say they finally have justice, almost seven years after he was killed.

Andrew Shaw was the fourth and final person involved in Bagley’s death to go on trial, and today he was found guilty of second-degree murder.

Shaw had two men, Drew Wagner and Drew Blahnik, kill Bagley in December 2018.

The jury found Andrew Shaw guilty of second-degree murder. That’s a lesser charge than the first degree murder charge he was on trial for.

The jury acquitted him on two other charges: solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit a forcible felony.

State prosecutor Monica Slaughter said by finding Shaw not guilty of those charges, the jury does not think Shaw paid to have Bagley murdered.
