COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - This week marks the start of the 2025 Aggie football season.

Texas A&M’s Transportation Institute has been working on game-day traffic and parking operations for months, and now it’s time to piece everything together.

Tens of thousands of visitors and their vehicles are expected to make their way to Aggieland this weekend.

Even though they’ve been preparing for months, day-of preparations start several hours before the crowd rolls in.

Expect road closures, traffic delays and new parking information. (kbtx)

You’ll see closures on Houston and Coke streets, near the Memorial Student Center and near Reed Arena.

Due to construction on FM 2818, the transportation institute recommends using Wellborn Road, Texas Avenue, or Highway six.
