AUSTIN (KXAN) — For Texas Athletics to even consider placing another brand on their courts and fields next to the iconic burnt orange Longhorn, it had to be a special opportunity with a partner that shared the same values.

Humann, an Austin-based health and wellness company born out of the University of Texas' research, which has worked with Longhorn athletes for more than a decade, fits that mold, university leaders said. The university announced Monday that Humann is the official cardiovascular supplement of the Longhorns, and their logo will be featured on every playing field and court that teams call home.

It's a 16-year sponsorship deal managed by Longhorn Sports Properties, a division of national college athletics media company Learfield, and athletic director Chris Del Conte said
