Monday, jurors heard from Wendi Adelson, Donna Adelson’s daughter and Dan Markel’s ex-wife, and her brother, Robert.

After five hours of testimony, the defense wrapped up their questioning of Wendi by asking her if she should be held accountable for Dan Markel’s murder.

Bodiford said this is the kind of question where the answer doesn’t matter.

“That’s the type of question that really isn’t designed to, as much, get a response as it is to plant that seed of information in the jury’s mind,” Bodiford said.
