The University of Colorado Boulder Police Department is investigating a report of shots fired at Norlin Library on Monday.
The campus police alerted all students and teachers that to shelter in place on the main CU campus.
Police said there are no signs of injuries or a suspect as of a 5:28 p.m. update.
"Police activity near Norlin Library," the alert on the department's Facebook page said. "Emergency personnel responding. Avoid area."
The university's East Campus is not under a shelter-in-place order, according to their alert system . Boulder Police Department and university police are evacuating Norlin Library and Sewell Hall.
