Social media users expressed their fury this morning as Reddit suffered an outage.

More than 2,000 users experienced issues at the sane time at the peak of the outage at around midnight. The majority of these were in the UK, according to website Down Detector.

People have shared their ire on other social media platforms, such as X, which was known as Twitter. One post reads: "I thought we built the internet so it couldn't go down? What's up with Reddit?"

Reddit users often use the app to engage with friends.

One user posted: "1 hour of Reddit being down and broken and i miss my degen sports betting friends already."

Another shared: "Good to know that Reddit is actually down, and my account isn’t banned."
