NORWOOD, Ohio —

President Donald Trump wants to do away with voting by mail, claiming it invites fraud.

"I think it could be open to fraud for sure, the way it's handled,” she said in an interview near her home.

Some voters want to keep mail-in voting for practical reasons.

Leslie Neff of Hermosa Beach, California, is one of them.

"We can't always get down to the voting place,” Neff said. "My husband and I are getting older, and people who have disabilities can't always get down to voting places."

In Ohio last fall, more registered Republicans voted by mail than ever before. Party leaders encouraged them to do so.
