MONTGOMERY, La. (KALB) - The Montgomery Tigers found instant success during the first season under head coach Taylor Williams.
“You just got to build on it,” Williams said on the program’s momentum. “These guys got to experience, they get to see a taste of what it was, whether it was watching or playing in it, and hopefully they enjoy that taste and want to take it to another level.”
The Tigers graduate a dozen seniors from last year’s playoff roster and have spent the summer looking to get their younger players ready for Friday Night Lights.
“We’re taking it one step at a time, just trying to get the younger guys better,” Montgomery senior Jett Bullock said. “Trying to let them learn, step up as seniors and show them the results, get them going.”
