A 27-year-old man was found dead wrapped in multiple blankets and duct tape in the back seat of a car parked at South Shore Hospital over the weekend, the Plymouth County DA’s Office said Monday.

At about 2:07 p.m. Saturday, South Shore Hospital staff called Weymouth Police with reports of a “possibly deceased body” in the rear seat of a car parked in front of the emergency room entrance, the DA’s office stated.

The hospital coordinator approached the vehicle, identified as a 2019 black Honda Civic with a Maine license plate, the DA said. In the back seat, he found “an unresponsive male wrapped in multiple blankets secured with duct tape.”

At about 2:15 p.m., the man in the car was pronounced dead, authorities reported.

The victim was identified as Declan Perry, 27, of Portland, Maine.
