NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are asking for the public's assistance finding a 62-year-old woman who was reported missing out of Newport Monday.

The Newport Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for Laura Hance Rodriguez, who was last seen just before 3 p.m.

Hance Rodriguez's cell phone last pinged at T.F. Green International Airport. Police believe she may be traveling to Pennsylvania.

She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a green and blue tank top with white writing and gray slides.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Newport Police Department by calling (401) 847-1302.
