In advance of the U.S. government’s official ‘check up’ on the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) trade deal – negotiated by President Trump and supporting more than $900 billion in goods and services moving across our northern border – Canada announced on Friday plans to drop retaliatory tariffs on some USMCA-covered products.
