CROSSVILLE, Tenn — A memorial now sits on the corner of Main Street and Fourth Street in Crossville, Tennessee. This comes after authorities say 63-year-old Albert Sturgill Jr. was shot and killed Friday.

Crossville Trophy & Gifts owner Larry Doster said he had seen Sturgill many times in town.

"I have seen him numerous times because he's obvious he has a prosthetic leg, had a prosthetic leg, and he rides his bicycle all over town," Doster said.

When closing up on Friday, Doster said he saw Sturgill near the war memorial in downtown Crossville. He said it appeared Sturgill was putting up two middle fingers toward the memorial.
