ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions are parting ways with another recent third-round pick and more defensive line depth as cuts continues to come in.
Brodric Martin will head to waivers after failing to make the initial 53-man roster. The Lions are also cutting veteran defensive lineman Myles Adams.
Martin was a top-100 pick in the 2023 draft out of Western Kentucky by way of Northern Alabama. He played in five games, starting once, notching four tackles and no quarterback hits during his time in Detroit. That said, there is no surprise to seeing his name hit the wire, with Martin routinely repping at the bottom of the rotation from the start of training camp until last week’s end.
