PASCO, Wash. – Drivers in Pasco should prepare for nightly closures on Broadmoor Boulevard beginning tonight. The closures will take place between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. to allow crews to lay new pavement.

The work is part of the Broadmoor Extension Project, funded locally through the Tax-Increment-Finance Program. This program allows the city to use future tax revenues to fund current projects. This initiative has been in development for several years.

Project Engineer Vincent Malong explained the project’s objectives, stating, “We’ve had a lot of consultants, a lot of designers, a lot of city staff reviewing and planning this project out.
