Dogs have a new place to play in Murrieta .

The city held a ribbon cutting Monday, Aug. 25, for Glen Arbor Dog Park.

The city invested about $925,000 into refurbishment of the Glen Arbor Park, where the dog area is located. Improvements include a twisting walkway along with upgraded landscaping, drainage and parking.

Construction on the project started in spring.
