The YWCA of New Britain is open again after closing its doors for nearly a month.

On July 29, a two-year-old named Saunti Reynolds choked and died while at the YWCA . It's a situation that has rocked the community and prompted an investigation that is still ongoing.

School-aged programming is back Monday. Infant, toddler and preschool programming will resume on Wednesday.

In a letter to families, CEO Tracy Madden-Hennessey said they have worked closely with their licensing partners to prepare for reopening and have reinforced their commitment to maintaining strong safety and training requirements.
