ABC’s “The View” announced Monday that its new season will begin Sept. 8 despite warnings from “The White House” that the long-running day time show’s days may be numbered.
“Ok people, the countdown is on to an all new season of ‘The View, the most watched Emmy-nominated number one daytime talk show,” the show’s hosts collectively announced in a promo posted Monday.
The show went on hiatus July 28 shortly after panelist Joy Behar accused President Trump of being defined by his jealousy of his predecessor Barack Obama.
“[Behar] should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off air,” White House spokesman Roger Taylor told Entertainment Weekly.
