Campbell County Health’s Dr. William Egbert will be speaking from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Room 127 of the Carter Health Sciences Building. He’ll talk about the science behind anxiety and how people are able to turn the feeling into motivation as part of the Health, Habits & Harmony luncheon speaker series. A specialist in anxiety management, Egbert’s talk will include practical techniques and science-based strategies to help listeners with their own anxiety, focusing on ways to reframe anxiety as a tool to use rather than an obstacle to overcome. The event is free and open to the public, and a small lunch will be provided.
