Colorado Springs clothing swap draws a crowd after TikTok post by local stylist goes viral

Pinpointing a need in your community, and filling that gap. That’s what local hair stylist Meghan Lyons achieved after hosting a local clothing swap event that began with a video post on TikTok.

It started as a simple callout: Have clothes you don't love anymore? Donate them, and in exchange, build a new wardrobe of used clothes — entirely for free.

As the post racked up views, a growing pile of donated clothes filled Meghan’s salon in north Colorado Springs.
