TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. — A driver allegedly seen driving 130 miles per hour Sunday on Interstate 65 was arrested Sunday, according to Indiana State Police.
The motorist also faces allegations of operating while intoxicated and reckless driving, an ISP spokesperson said.
According to a press release, a state trooper was patrolling the highway near State Road 26 in Tippecanoe County when he clocked a 2019 Audi S5 driving at 130 miles per hour and stopped the vehicle. During an investigation, the trooper became suspicious that the driver might be impaired.
The trooper arrested the man and transported him to the Tippecanoe County Jail.
