After more than four decades, Mural Arts Philadelphia founder Jane Golden will step down as the organization’s executive director. Golden will end her tenure with Mural Arts in July 2026, the group announced on Monday, Aug. 25. A spokesperson said Golden will continue to lead the group through its 2025-2026 fiscal year as they begin a national search for her successor in the fall.
Golden will also guide projects celebrating the nation’s 250 th anniversary in 2026 and work with the organization’s Board of Directors to help with the transition to a new leader.
