HOUSTON (KIAH) — Harris County Sherriff's Office (HCSO) is currently searching for the suspect in an aggravated robbery that left a man critically injured. According to reports, the incident happened at Casa Del Mar Apartments located at 2431 W FM 1960 in northwest Houston.

The violent crimes unit responded to the scene to located a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was shot in the head and face, requiring emergency surgery.

According to HCSO, the victim and the suspect were acquaintances, with the suspect allegedly producing a handgun and robbing the victim for $600 before fleeing the scene.

The victim remains at large and the investigation is ongoing.
