CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Chester County mom and her teenage son were charged after someone was injured in a shooting, according to the Chester County Sheriff's Office.

Just before 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 25, deputies responded to a reported shooting in the area of the Ramsey Grove Apartments on Flint Street. When they arrived, they found one victim who was taken to a local hospital for treatment, officials said.

Investigators were able to identify the victims as 19-year-old Jomarrion Tymire Pollock and his 34-year-old mother, Ericka Pollock Thomas.

Tymire was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Ericka was charged with accessory after the fact to a felony and intimidation of court officials, jurors, or
