Cloud cover increases through Wednesday leaving Mid-MO mostly cloudy. Temperatures will still warm to the lower 80s this afternoon.
Showers return to southwestern Missouri this evening and will push east overnight and early Thursday morning. A few isolated showers are possible for areas south of hwy 50, but most of Mid-MO will stay completely dry.
Rain will not make it far enough north for Columbia to receive rain on Thursday which is good news for anyone with outdoor plans, including the Mizzou Tiger's who begin their football season Thursday evening.
Mid-Missouri does still need rainfall. COU (official measurement site for Mid-MO) has received less than 0.1" of rain in August.
