The Seahawks assembled an initial 17-player practice squad on Wednesday, a group made up entirely of players who were waived or released by Seattle a day earlier as part of the roster reduction from 90 to 53 players.
Among those sticking around with the Seahawks are a pair of 2025 draft picks, running back Damien Martinez and Ricky White III, as well as players who have previous regular-season experience like safety Jerrick Reed II, linebacker Patrick O'Connell, linebacker Jamie Sheriff, defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna, guard Sataoa Laumea, cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles and defensive tackle Brandon Pili.
