OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – It’s almost as important as your favorite football team: what you wear to the game. One Oklahoma City organization has begun creating custom designs for game days while also supporting its mission to assist the Metro’s homeless population.

Curbside Apparel has been pumping out hundreds of t-shirts over the past few weeks. School spirit, inked onto a shirt, just in time for football season.

The organization traditionally prints designs for corporate clients, but recently dug into its playbook and came up with the idea of making shirts to showcase the state’s love of sports.

"Last season, we tested it more with football, and there's a really great response. People really want local gear," said Whitley O’Connor, Homeless Alliance Chief Social Enterprise Officer.
