COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Another cool and crisp morning across the area with temperatures starting off in the 50s to upper 60s, another fall-like day with highs in the middle 80s. We'll have sunshine to start but clouds will gradually increase and I can't rule out a few showers after 6 PM.

Better chance for showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder on Friday thanks to a weak front lifting north, best chance for showers will be Friday morning and then again late Friday night.

We'll keep the chance for showers in the forecast through Labor Day, not a wash out but keep an eye to the sky if you have any outdoor activities. The front that is keeping showers in the forecast will clear by Tuesday of next week, leaving us with more sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures.
