Duke kicks off its 2025 campaign on Thursday, Aug. 28, welcoming Elon to Wallace Wade Stadium for the season opener.

It’s a familiar storyline, as the Blue Devils also began last fall against the Phoenix, rolling to a 26-3 victory in what doubled as Manny Diaz’s first game at the helm.

That debut season ended with a 9-4 record and a trip to the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. This time around, Duke brings back 14 returners from that squad while also sprinkling in 28 freshmen and nine transfer arrivals to reload the roster.
