Jim Goodwin is confident Nikolaj Moller can follow in the footsteps of Bojan Miovski and Sam Dalby by hitting the goal trail under him. ‌

The Dundee United boss moved to strengthen his injury-hit frontline ahead of the derby by bringing in the Swede from St Gallen. ‌

The former Arsenal youngster, who played under Mikel Arteta, doesn’t have the best of goal records but his manager reckons that was also the case when he took top scorer Dalby from Wrexham last season and Rangers target Bojan Miovski , previously, from Hungarian football to Aberdeen. ‌

Fellow new signings Zac Sapsford and Max Watters weren’t exactly prolific either but hit the goal trail in United's early season games before their respective injuries took their toll.
