A Hamilton soccer club has hired one of the team staffers at the centre of the Olympic drone spying scandal as its new head of soccer development.

Mount Hamilton United Soccer Club (MHUSC) announced Joseph Lombardi’s hiring in an Aug. 12 Instagram post .

“Mr. Lombardi will oversee the design and implementation of MHUSC’s technical programs, long-term player development models, and coach education frameworks,” it reads.
