TRINITY, Texas — Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace confirmed three men are dead following a critical gas leak in Trinity.

Wallace said three men who were working in the sewer-area were found unconscious due to a leak of hydrogen sulfide and subsequently died.

Chief Deputy Jeremy Carroll with the Trinity County Sheriff's Office confirmed all three men have been recovered. They were workers performing motor repair and contracted from H20 Innovations and Hydroclear Services. All three men were from the greater Houston area, and were ages 46, 47 and 52. No further information about their identities have been released.
