A man trying to retrieve a cat perched at the top of a tall pine tree ended up needing to be rescued in Los Angeles' Mission Hills neighborhood Wednesday night.

L.A. firefighters were sent to the 8900 block of Burnet Avenue after receiving reports of a man trapped in a tree around 11:30 p.m.
