Chicago's Taylor Townsend wasn't backing down following her viral argument with Jelena Ostapenko on a court sideline at the U.S. Open Wednesday.

Townsend took to social media to share images of her reacting to her win in the second-round match.

"Brought the fire, some people can’t take the heat," she wrote alongside the series of images, which included one of the argument.

Townsend and Ostapenko got into a face-to-face argument on the Court 11 sideline right after Townsend won their second-round match 7-5, 6-1.

Townsend, an American who is ranked No. 1 in doubles, said Ostapenko, a Latvian, who won the 2017 French Open, told her she has “no class” and “no education.”
