The Florida football 2025 season is upon us. For head coach Billy Napier, there's comfort in a roster that returns eight starters on offense, eight starters on defense and preseason All-SEC kicker Trey Smack.

Depth is another matter for the Florida Gators .

Napier said one of the keys to UF's success this season will hinge on how his second and third-team players perform. Injuries in the SEC are inevitable, and different players could be called upon in different situations during the grind of a 12-game regular season schedule.
