ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Division is investigating the death of a man nearly four years after being shot.
According to police, they were called to the 5300 block of West Florissant Ave. on Sept. 13, 2021, for a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located Terrance Keely, who was 32 at the time, with a gunshot wound to his neck sitting inside his car.
At the time of the shooting, Keely told police he was shot by an unknown man in a Mercedes when the suspect fled.

Keely, now 36, died June 22 of this year at a hospital. Officials said the medical examiner determined the cause of death to be from "sequelae of remote gunshot wound of the neck."
