LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A Mexican national, with felony convictions, who was previously deported from the United States three times, is back in prison after being sentenced again.
Immigration officials in Las Vegas found Salvador Gonzalez-Sanchez after he had previously been deported in 2011, 2017, and 2023, according to court documents.
Gonzalez-Sanchez had previous convictions for illegally possessing a firearm, assault with a firearm, and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act.
Gonzalez-Sanchez pleaded guilty to one count of Deported Alien Found in the United States and was sentenced Wednesday to 40 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release. He will be deported a fourth time after he serves his sentence.
