New calculations show that EV drivers will see an increase in costs from 1st October following Ofgem’s updated energy price cap, announced yesterday. UK EV drivers are expected to collectively spend £45.5 million a month - £1 million more than currently - from October.

The average price to fully charge a 60kWh EV at home will rise from £15.43 to £15.81 (38p increase). And the cost per mile will increase from 8.6p to 8.8p for low-efficiency vehicles, and from 6.4p to 6.6p for high-efficiency vehicles.
