Motorcyclist dies in ICU after crashing in Oconee County, coroner says

WESTMINSTER, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Oconee County Coroner’s Office said a motorcyclist has died following an early morning crash in Westminster.

Officials said 69-year-old Alan Roger Mason crashed on Phillip Lear Road around 4:21 a.m. on Thursday.

According to the coroner’s office, Mason was taken to the intensive care unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital where he passed away at 9:49 a.m.

Officials declared his manner of death as accidental.
