A three-month-old baby boy has tragically died after being rushed to hospital from a home in Glasgow. ‌

Emergency crews were called to an address on Locksley Avenue in the city’s Knightswood area at around 5pm on Tuesday, August 26. ‌

The infant was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children but sadly passed away the following day, Wednesday, August 27, reports GlasgowLive. ‌

Police Scotland confirmed the death is currently being treated as “unexplained.”

A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 5pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, we were made aware of a three-month-old boy having been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children from a property in Locksley Avenue, Glasgow. ‌
