A Cajun Navy volunteer shared new details about the moment a missing nonverbal boy's body was found in a lagoon. Advertisement

Bryan Vasquez, 12, was missing for nearly two weeks before his body was found Tuesday morning in a lagoon near his home.

The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office confirmed Vasquez's cause of death was ruled blunt force trauma from alligators and drowning.

The United Cajun Navy said that a thermal drone found two large alligators with the boy's body.

According to a Cajun Navy volunteer, the drone spooked the alligators, prompting the animals to surface Vasquez's body to the surface of the water.
