One of America’s low-fare airlines announced the addition of 20 new routes.
Come this fall, Frontier Airlines said the expansion will be from key cities including Detroit, Michigan; Houston and Dallas, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland; Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina.
The company added that fares will begin at $29 and routes will launch from November through February 2026.
“As industry capacity adjusts, we want to ensure consumers in those markets continue to have affordable flight options,” Frontier Airlines CEO Barry Biffle said in a statement.
Frontier’s move comes at a time when its primary rival, Spirit Airlines, is facing financial challenges.
