DENVER (KDVR) -- A free screening of a documentary exploring "racial inequities in birth and breastfeeding experiences" will be held at Harkins Theatres Northfield 18 at 8300 E. Northfield Blvd. at 6 p.m. on Friday.
The documentary, titled Chocolate Milk: The Documentary, features three Black women, including a mother, a midwife and a lactation consultant, according to Denver-based advocacy group and event host Clayton Early Learning.
The 90-minute screening will be followed by a live panel discussion on Black maternal health and breastfeeding equity, featuring local Black professionals and "advocates in the birth and lactation fields."
