FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — The New England Patriots will have a new look for just one game this season.
As part of the NFL's "Rivalries" program, the Patriots unveiled the uniform they will wear during their Week 11 matchup against the New York Jets.
The Nor'easter uniform combines the region's natural elements, rich maritime history and football tradition, the team said.
Some of the details on the jersey include: • Six stars on the uniform representing the six New England states • A new "NE" shoulder logo, inspired by nautical lettering and compass points, underscoring the unique nature of the Patriots being the only team to represent a whole region • Jersey number design evokes their 1990s uniform • The shoulder and pant stripes have a subtle netting pattern, paying homage to New
