TEXAS, USA — College football is returning in full force this weekend with a complete slate of games.
For Texas schools, though, they'll be playing for something bigger than themselves. When the Lone Star schools take the field this weekend, they'll all be donning the same helmet sticker, honoring the victims of the July 4 floods in Central Texas. The state of Texas, wrapped in a green ribbon, which has been a symbol of remembrance for the victims lost.
At least 138 people – including 27 campers and counselors at Camp Mystic – died from the devastating flood.
