NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a school bus Thursday afternoon in Norfolk.
Police say it happened around 1:25 p.m. in the 800 block of East Princess Anne Road.
A preliminary investigation determined the pedestrian entered the roadway and was hit by the Norfolk school bus.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
There were no students on the bus at the time of the incident.
