The Air Force has offered full military funeral honors to Ashli Babbitt, the rioter who was fatally shot by police as she stormed the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot four years ago , officials said Thursday. Babbitt, 35, was an Air Force veteran who went to Washington to protest Donald Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election, her family has said, and was among the rioters seeking to break into the House chamber.
